LITTLE PORCELAIN ELEPHANT

Photos from my grandmother's house in Pico island, the liker with the barbie photo on it was incredibly amusing to stare at every day. On a different note, Nileta the creator of [imatioθiki] will be paying me a visit tomorrow. Her blog is incredibly inspiring and original so don't forget to bookmark it, I am already hooked.

How do you like my new bunny favicon I made? Isn't it adorable? But lately it's been feeling rather blue, follow me with BLOGLOVIN' to cheer up the little bastard!

FNO

(necklace and top made by me, skirt zara, ankle boots mango, clutch h&m)

A day before fashion's night out I went through my closet and ended up staring at a mountain of clothes pulling off the line "I have nothing to wear" for the millionth time. So I pulled out my sewing machine and made this top. I had so much fun at the party, there was Spiros who is working as a stylist for Status magazine, Stame who took these photos and did this and this photoshoot with me and Dionisis who designs the incredible jewelry D-Duh the boys are wearing. We hung out at Prada, enjoyed the delicious amuse bouche and drinks then had cocktails at the afterparty and at some point we broke the law but I won't say anything more about that.

FASHION'S NIGHT OUT ATHENS (sneak preview)

At Prada boutique with Spiros on Fashion's night out Athens, photo by Stame.
I would describe that night as immaculately fun but in the hopes of not sounding completely pretentious lovely will do. This photo looks like it's from the kooples no? Details about the night, the outfits and many more photos later.

FOG

cheap monday jeans

These photos are from the trip I took to the mountain of Pico, unfortunately I didn't climb the volcano but I did get to enjoy the breathtaking alien-like base of it, the fog only gave it an even more extra terrestrial look and collect my favorite flower, hydrangeas, they are everywhere in those islands.

Just came back from a three day trip to Mykonos with my friends and I could write an entire chapter about it but I'll sum it up to totally awesome. Endless, insane partying is not really my style but it's fun once in a while with great company, riding on a motorcycle to the beach, cocktails in little Venice, walking around in the maze of wonderful white cycladic houses and I think I caught a glimpse of Dolce and Gabbana too.

CH-CH-CHERRY BOMB

(red satchel bag Arafeel, top Toi&Moi, sunglasses Lanvin for H&M, necklace thrifted)

A few days ago I attended the Ozon soiree to celebrate the international issue, it was so great to catch up again with the fashionable crowd after summer vacation. I was also interviewed by the wonderful MTV vj Nafsika, although I'm pretty sure I made her think I'm mentally challenged or something, note to self, when somebody asks you what are this seasons trends DO NOT begin your answer with "umm, hmmm, this seasons trends? hmmm now let me seeeee, hmmmm" It's like my mind went completely blank, I even had trouble remembering what my blog's name was. I think I probably have a case of tv fright. No worry, I'm sure I'll overcome it like most of my other bizarre phobias of elevators and using a telephone.
I'm loving this bag from Arafeel, I was in real need for a big handbag I could fit pretty much everything in, my bag collection was going color blind so I had to go for the red.

PORTUGUESE SHAWL

(playsuit, american vintage, blouse zara, backpack topshop, asos belt and heels, thrifted shawl. vintage hat)
Location: Sant'Ana, Pico

The shawl was love at first site, I think my eyes turned into a heart shape for a moment like a cartoon when I saw it. Traditional yet subtly modern at the same time, if that makes any sense. I will probably be sewing black fringe on it to make it even more dramatic.
On a different note, I'm thinking of redecorating my bedroom, to a minimal all white space and I'm trying to find a way to replace my bookshelf with something less ugly and preferably not a bookshelf,  only one and a half shelves are books, the rest is shoes btw.

NAVAJO SKIES

(navajo print top topshop, denim button up blouse mango, vintage shorts and leather boots)

There is no place more peaceful than standing at the edge of a cliff of black rocky lava, looking down at the edge and watching the waves crash under your feet. I over wore that denim blouse this summer, it's so easy to just wear with anything casual and black. Closet staples are so convenient, I never seem to be in the mood to dress anything more than comfortably when there's heat involved, the extra layers of clothing are suicide with that weather.
