ALEXANDER WANG KNIT

(knit Alexander Wang)

I almost did cartwheels when I tried it on, such a perfect fit. If only it was winter now so I could wear it everywhere. Short in the front, long in the back, big sleeves and subtle turtle neck in a perfect white. Thank you net-a-porter for putting this lovely knit on sale, I'll be investing more in my favorite designer labels instead of cheap brands, will probably have to eat less to afford them and learn to live with ought electricity but I'll be getting thinner and saving the planet so I'm optimistic about it.
Also, I got my drivers license today but greek roads are so chaotic and messed up, pretty much like everything else in this country, i was scared to death, just the thought of having to go out in those streets again makes me want to chuck my drivers licence and take the bus, fuck.

SUMMER PLAYLIST

(bandeau bikini top topshop, bikini bottom river island, headband accessorize)

With all the tanning I did using barely any sunscreen, (I'm such a daredevil I am, going in the sun spf zeroed, who does that these days?) Anyway, I got myself a good tan and the sun made my hair lighter to the point my skin and hair are pretty much... unicolor? Which means I'm the same color all over, I can't tell if it's funny or kinda cool.

I love music, everyone does and lists and summer. So here is my awesome summer playlist.

FAIAL ISLAND

This is Faial island, I went for a one day trip, took the boat from Pico, walked on the tip of the volcano's crater, swam in a black sand beach, mixed matched my swimwear for fun, the bottom is topshop and the top is river island. Visited the lighthouse that was buried under ashes and debris in the latest volcanic explosion about 50 years ago. So many things done in such a tiny island. I'm pretty sure I've bored you so much with all this Azores islands talk that by now you point your finger at your tongue every time you read about that place. I'll try moving on. (sob)

THE LACKLUSTER OF BIPOLAR WILD THINGS

(gifted shirt draw in light, cheap monday jeans, topshop bonsai print blouse and backpack, diy feather headband and bracelets, accessorize navajo print headband, sunglasses giant vintage, wedges jeffrey campbell snickers, thrifted eye ring)

Back in Greece after my long vacation in the Azorean paradise. Adjusting to the asphyxiating heat and the not so charming environment is not the easiest thing, especially when you're used to living in the jungle, reading magazines on a hammock and looking out at the ocean and the nearby islands. I miss it so much already.
In the basement of the house I was staying at. Layering apparently not only my clothes but headbands too and dancing all my free time away.
I had a huge surprise when I got home though! Here's a hint; Alexander Wang and Rag and Bone, can't wait to post my new babies.

CLIFF DIVING BIRDS

(dress Arafeel, blouse zara, sleeveless vest american vintage)

Sometimes I feel like I dress too much like a hippy flower-child, maybe I'm experiencing some past life regression, that might explain the headbands, the guitar lessons I took and my uncontrollable urge to buy a Volkswagen mini van and travel some sort of barren wasteland in it. The more I think about it the more sence it makes.

LIVING IN PICO

This is life in Pico, jungle trees and hydrangeas everywhere, even drawn on telephone posts, unusually friendly cats and as a cat lover I can't help but pat them for hours and take millions of tacky cat photos, swimming between lava rocks, in pools and cliff diving in the water (that was freaken scary), beautiful white simple little houses that only seem to accentuate the beauty of this place, misspelled "for sael" signs and religious symbols I've come to appreciate in a very Madonna meets the DaVinci code sort of way, oh, the hidden symbols/codes you will find in a church here! I love it.

UNTIL THE EYE CAN SEE

(dkny shirt, american vintage vest, fairground shorts, asos heels, souvenir azores backpack, diy friendship bracelets)

At the ruins of an abandoned house somewhere in the depths of our 100 acre back yard jungle. I own more backpacks than a mountail climber, but this one has pineapples and little catholic nuns on it, so how could I not get it?
