I was blown away with these Mexican Dia de los muertos inspired photos.
Feel like hanging them on my wall.

RESORT

DSC_0540 - Copy
(bikini and fringed dress topshop, floral playsuit love, heels and lbd asos, sunglasses jeepers peepers)

New in from asos and topshop. I can't wait to wear all of it this summer. This year I have been watching a lot of stylish movies and have been very inspired by them. Like "the talented mr Ripley" or "Roman holiday", "the garden of Eden", "great expectations", "the dreamers" and "somewhere" to name a few really influenced my wardrobe. The relaxed glamorous but casual 50's and 60's resort with the classy little black dress and the Audrey Hepburn sunglasses, the hippy chic fringed dress and that floral playsuit! I can already picture it in a Sophia Coppola movie. I'm feeling a very feminine, elegant vibe but with a bit of a twist of course. No boy's tops, vests and boxy shapes for me this summer.

SEA SHELLS

(shorts h&m, scarf perry ellis, shoes jeffrey campbell, sunglasses lanvin for h&m, handmade top and seashell necklace, vintage satchel)

The scalloped shorts and the top I made are a bit pajama-ish together but I'm up for anything that looks casual and out-of-bed lately. Maybe it's reflecting my mood, I'm already in vacation mode despite my very busy program including getting my drivers licence, giving exams and finishing projects for my third semester.
I've gone mental with my mother's garden, she's done such an incredible job filling every nick and cranny of our lot with marvelous plants and now it's the time of year they all blossom, it would be a shame not taking advantage of that. This morning I even picked some razberries, nom nom!

SUMMER ROSE

These roses are like paradise and a unicorn had a baby and sprinkled some fairy dust on it.
See the complete outfit tomorrow.

GINGER DRINK

  INGREDIENTS
  • banana
  • strawberry
  • ginger
  • a couple of mint leaves
  • a slice of pineapple
  • tons of chipped ice
  • sugar
Alright, I'm no culinary expert so this is just me guessing what the recipe could be for that delicious drink I'm holding.
Just throw some strawberry juice and pineapple juice in a blender with half a banana, sugar or even better honey and shred some ginger in there too. Blend. Add crushed ice, mint leaves and the pineapple slice. Serve in a really pretty cup, if the drink isn't good at least you can be a poser and strut around with your pretty cup.

DESERT STONE

photography Michael Stame
(cheap monday jeans, vintage vest, jeffrey campbell heels)

These jeans have really become my second skin ever since I got them, I will definitely be filling my closet with more of these next season, paired it with this huge but awesome navajo print vest. Really enjoyed taking these photos with the super talented and cute Stame, with whom I will be modeling again next Saturday for something I'm very exited about but I won't say anything more until its certain. Also, I just received a little gift from Tag your closet where I was interviewed.
Don't forget to rate my outfit on hypeed!
