NINE FASHIONABLE MOVIES THAT HAVE INSPIRED ME

The royal Tenenbaums (2001)
Powerful characters with equally striking and quirky fashion taste.

Une femme est une femme (1961)
It's so easy to fall in love with Anna Karina's flirty personality and the elegant outfits of the 60's.

Cracks (2009)
Eva Green's wardrobe makes me wishing my teachers had dressed like that.

The virgin suicides (1999)
Laid back, pastel clothing of the 70's in an equally melancholic and brilliant movie directed by Sophia Coppola.

Charade (1963)
Audrey Hepburn. No further description needed.

Lars and the real girl (2007)
Although not an obviously fashionable movie, there is something about Ryan Gosling's lumberjack style, or maybe it's just Ryan Gosling.

Kaboom (2010)
Follows the college life of some of the most insane characters I've seen on film with a matching sense of style.

The dreamers (2003)
One of my favorite movies of all time, beautiful actors, scandalous, incredible decor and style during the 60's in France.

The talented Mr. Ripley (1999)
Elegantly styled women including some of the best menswear I've seen on film or in real life.

More fashionable movies include Sonny, Memoirs of a geisha, The Darjeeling limited, Great expectations, Camille,  Factory girl, Atonement and Never let me go. It's obvious I'm massively inspired by not just the outfits but the general lifestyle of the 60's and 70's. Can you blame me? Everything was so beautiful... everything was free...
